Certificates of professionalism for young people
At the Center Jovent each year we developed several courses for young people from 16 to 29 years aimed at obtaining certificates of professionalism. These certificates accredit the set of professional competences that train for the development of an identifiable labor activity in the productive system. They are official and validity throughout the national territory and are issued by the SEPE and the Servei de L’Occupation of Les Illes Balears (SOIB) in our Autonomous Community.
Certificates of professionalism are constituted by two or more theoretical – practical modules that are taught in person and a non-labor practices module carried out in companies. For obtaining the aforementioned certificate it is necessary to have overcome all the modules that constitute it, including the practical module.
In all the formations, an integral education is intended to promote labor and development performance as a person.

Access
To access the formation of a certain certificate of professionalism, both level 1 and level 2, requirements must be met.
Requirements for access to professionalism certificates
- Level 1: The requirements to be able to access a certificate of professionalism level 1 are:
- Registration as an employment claimant at the SOIB office.
- Be between 16 and 29 years old.
- Level 2: To access a certificate of professionalism level 2, in addition to the above requirements, the following academic requirements are necessary:
- Having the title of graduate that or being aware of approving 2 subjects that are not Spanish language, Catalan language or mathematics.
- Being in possession of a certificate of level 2 professionalism
- Being in possession of a certificate of level 1 professionalism of the same professional family.
- Comply with academic requirements to access medium-grade training cycles.
- Have the university access test overcome for over 25 years and / or 45 years.
- Overcome the valuation tests of key competences (Spanish, Catalan and Mathematics) necessary to take advantage of training.
Characteristics of training:
Multimedia tools are used, such as tablets, which allow access to videos, simulations, conceptual maps, etc.
All courses for obtaining certificates of professionalism are free, as well as material, uniform and individual protection equipment. Each training has two professionals for every 16 students.

Contents
The training is theoretical-practical, with a very high percentage of experimentation on real work and with a progressivity in the degree of difficulty that makes accessible the assimilation of all contents.
Study and work material
Prepared by professionals at Center Jovent in collaboration with UIB, it has been adapted to the needs of students (progressive and easy to understand) and the requirements of each certificate of professionalism. The contents are worked with multimedia tools, using tablets that allow access to videos, simulations, conceptual maps, etc.
Business practice
The practices in the company is the last module of any certificate of professionalism, without which you can not obtain the title. They allow the approach to the work world and work content that have been seen throughout the training process. They are also an opportunity to improve the curriculum and be a good candidate for an offer of employment. Several Jovent professionals perform monitoring and mediation with the company while practices last.
To select an internship company for our students, we are looking for that company that best suits each person’s profile, within the bag of more than 300 companies that we have. Labor inserters adjust the personal profile with the characteristics of each company.
