CaixaProinfancia

With the CaixaProinfancia program we offer different actions aimed at people and/or families with children and adolescents from 0 to 18 years old who live in situations of impoverishment or social vulnerability, with the aim of breaking the cycle of transmission of poverty from parents to children by guaranteeing access to quality educational opportunities. This program is developed thanks to the support of Obra Social “la Caixa”.

The program is carried out in the entity’s own centers (Casal sa Midoneria and Center Jovent) and in spaces provided by different educational centers in the territory, with an area of ​​action delimited in the following neighborhoods: sa Indioteria, Son Cladera, Verge de Lluc- They are Rutlan, El Viver, Rafal Nou and Rafal Vell, Son Fortress Nord and Estadi Balear. The services we offer are:

  • Pro-education Services: We create educational environments for boys, girls and adolescents that provide them with solid references for their future, through:
    • Educational reinforcement and school equipment
    • Open centers
    • urban colonies
    • Speech therapy
    • Psychomotor skills
  • Pro-health Services: We provide support to families to guarantee their sons and daughters a good level of physical and mental well-being, through:
    • Individual and/or family psychological support
    • Child nutrition and hygiene
  • Glasses and hearing aids
